Our History
Oak Ridge was planted in in 1969 by a small group of people who had a heart for the rapidly growing community in the neighborhoods around Vance Jackson and Wurzbach. Over time as God blessed the efforts of these men and women, the church grew and expanded. As our community has changed, we have committed to maintain our presence as a light house of hope and a witness to the life changing power of the gospel. We are a multi-ethnic, multi-generational family. We are dedicated to the word of God, corporate prayer, transparent community and joy filled worship. Come join us this Sunday.

Oak Ridge is a Bible Based, Southern Baptist church, dedicated to making disciples in our community our nation and the world. At ORBC you will find a loving membership, serious biblical theology, and a heart for serving our community.
Our Staff
Andrew D. Bedo
Pastor
Andrew became pastor of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in May of 2017. He graduated from Texas A&M in College Station and received his Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before entering the Ministry, he served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the War in Iraq. Andrew and his wife Shannon have two children Grace and Andy.
