What to Expect
Whether you are new to the area or new to our church, we want to invite you to worship with us this Sunday! Here is some helpful information to help plan your visit.
Parking
We are so glad you have decided to worship with us at Oak Ridge Baptist! When you pull in the parking lot, you'll find we have saved a place for you, guest parking is close to the Sanctuary and the Family Life Center. If you don’t know where to go ask one of our welcome team members they will be happy to direct you.
WELCOME CENTER
When you walk into our building you will be greeted at the door. Someone will show you to our welcome center, a member of our connect team will hand you a gift bag and connect card to fill out. We will help you find a seat and get to the right Adult Bible Fellowship class once the service is over.
Worship 10:00
Each Sunday at 11:00 we meet for worship - coming together to praise and proclaim the goodness of God. At ORBC, there’s no dress code – we want you to be comfortable. While some will opt for a suit and tie, others come in t-shirt and jeans. All are welcome!Childcare is available for babies through Pre-Kindergarten during the service and elementary aged children attend children’s church. We provide an opportunity for families to worship together, and then the children leave together from the sanctuary for age-appropriate Biblical teaching.
What About my Kids
We love kids at ORBC. Our children’s ministry strives to create an environment where all children can be taught the truth of Jesus through music, games, teaching and other hands-on activities. During the worship service there is childcare in our nursery for birth-2 years and for Kindergarten through 5th grade, we offer Children's Church. After church during our Adult bible fellowships (11:30AM-12:30pm), we offer classes for children of every age as well as a dedicated youth class. In nursery and preschool classrooms, you will find excellent nursery workers and caring volunteers in each room. .
